so thankful for vaccines lessening severity - my 10 year old got a breakthrough case exactly 2 weeks after 2nd dose & he got sick. Day 1, fever, stomach & headache, then turned into bad cold for past 6 days. He's a very healthy kid.

I could not isolate from my 10 year old - who fully vax’d got it due to someone who thought their cold symptoms were not COVID due to negative rapid tests. We r day 6 isolated now - I probably have a mild case but can’t get tested easily. Rapid tests seem dangerously delayed

I thought so! I’m in Brentwood and wow has it been intense this last hour. Going to pick my son up at middle school and I cannot believe LA USD would put kids into so much danger saying they had to go today. I wouldn’t have sent him, but a lot of pressure to.
