It should have been a market decision not an administrator decision. It worked out financially but that’s not the point. Obviously it wasn’t the perfect case. If Adobe is a monopoly then how did Figma become big in the first place?.
@msuster In no way was this a bad decision. Adobe x Figma was the *perfect* antitrust case. There were some other cases she picked that didn't make sense, but we have to call balls and strikes if we want to be seen as good stakeholders of responsible capitalism. This one made sense.

Nice post-hoc justification for a bad decision.
A great reminder that letting startups grow into independently successful businesses, rather than be bought up by existing giants, can generate enormous value. A win for employees, investors, innovation, and the public.
