It brings me no pleasure to say that the same forces exist today. The same detached, traumatised, callous and self interested “rich and powerful” who are not just okay with but *happy to* exploit the working classes for their own political and financial ends.

Today I remember the working class lads who were ushered onto trucks and planes & sent to their deaths, robbed of middle and old age so they could go & fight wars that frankly should’ve never amounted to more than an argument over a sherry in a private members club.
