As a retired advanced police driver: it’s an absolute offence to drive through a red light. Only exemption are emergency services vehicles on blue lights and even then the onus is on the driver of emergency vehicles to make sure that it’s safe to do so.

Suggest that you look up Taylor v Godwin and the subsequent Highways Acts. Cyclists have always been allowed to use the whole lane, by right. You’re only allowed to use the roads subject to having a valid license and insurance. What refund are you asking for?

Thermal works by picking up differences in temperature, a shadow would not be picked up by thermal in those situations as it would not be on the ground long enough to change the temperature. It’s NOT thermal footage.
