We have been around the #Formby area today due to ongoing issues with vehicles causing an obstruction. In excess of 100 vehicles #reported for the offence, these are just a few examples! Remember to park responsibly and legally!

This motorcycle was seen overtaking in excess of the speed limit. Vehicle was stopped and found the rider had a provisional licence with no L plates, and a number of defects were found with the bike. Prohibition issued and rider #reported. Bike #seized

Either we found this car after it had been #stolen, or the owner was so excited to get to the #beach they left it unlocked with the engine running. Either way, we have recovered it for safe keeping!

The driver of this Fiat attracted attention to himself due to his erratic manner of driving. When we stopped him it transpired that he was driving without insurance. He is a new driver and will likely have his licence revoked when convicted.

The driver of this Ford Fiesta collided into a vehicle on the M53 near to Junction 3 and failed to stop at the scene. When we caught up with her she blew a whopping 174 at the roadside and 160 back at custody, despite the legal limit being 35! She was charged and remanded.

The driver of this Ford Focus was stopped for using his mobile phone whilst driving. He had already been disqualified for 'totting up' over 12 points, but decided to take the risk and drive. Now he can look forward to an even longer disqualification when he lands in court soon!!

The driver of this Audi A3 failed to stop & drove dangerously in the city area. An excellently timed stop stick brought the pursuit to a safe end and the driver was arrested. He was drunk and already disqualified until 2028. The vehicle had no insurance and was seized.

An Eagle Eyed CCTV operator spotted this Ford Focus being raced around the City during the early hours of the morning. When stopped the driver was clearly impaired and tested positive for Cannabis. A quantity of Cannabis & Nitrous Oxide was also located on the passenger
