Have I got this right? Liz Truss is intending to ‘lend’ us the money to temporarily freeze our gas bills, then make us pay it off in the next 20 years or so? All whilst the energy companies escape a windfall tax and get to make even more obscene profits?

We had a United Kingdom to be proud of, we had a tolerant and welcoming society, we had peace in N Ireland. We had relative security and prosperity within the EU. We had freedom of movement. We abided by the rule of law. Then we had Brexit and Boris Johnson. Now we have chaos.

To pensioners who voted leave. No amount of leaving the EU, blue passports, imperial measurements, will bring back your youth. I’m no spring chicken myself. But isn’t it better to look to the future of the next generations than yearn for a past which can never be recreated.

The failed Test and Trace is not run by the NHS, government call it that to try and deflect the blame. It is Serco, run by Dido Harding, friend of Matt Hancock and wife of Tory MP John Penrose. £32 billion that could have saved lives, wasted on crony contracts. 1% for NHS staff.

How can a PM be on holiday in the worst pandemic of our lifetimes, an A level u turn shambles, total shake of our public health, a crisis on the high streets and a month to try and secure some kind of deal in Brexit? Where is he? Is he really on holiday in Scotland? #WhereIsBoris

An unelected government advisor has appointed Gove to get the judges ‘sorted’. This is UK 2020. Half the population are blissfully unaware, sleepwalking into facism while cheering on ‘lovable’ ‘bumbling’ Boris. Absolutely terrifying!

@mrjamesob Switching Brexit party vote to Tory. They voted 70% Brexit. To switch to Labour would mean an acceptance of the failings of Brexit, and crucially they were ‘wrong’. They’re not yet prepared to do that, they invested too much of their pride into supporting Brexit, sadly.

Is @Keir_Starmer trying to commit political suicide? There is a huge gap in the electorate who are crying out for political representation and he has decided to turn his backs on them.
