1/ Since 2008, $AMZN monthly chart went through easily identifiable boom & bust cycles.
While "busts" have mostly been long consolidation, "booms" have seen multiple 100% returns over roughly a year, in 2016, 2018 & 2020.

It’s theta positive and roughly vol neutral. It can work in an absence of a directional move. It has a 5:1 r:r (risking 5 pts for 5 pts) with max payout if ES grows by ~1.1% over next two days. It has a breakeven point of 4455 vs 4485 for the long call. Downside = capped upside.

Yeaterday I reached my goal of seeing two weeks of +$1k gains from 0DTE long Θ, short vol plays.
Today is a continuation of the trend, so I’m obviously happy about that, and it’s a result of 3+ months of practice through various market conditions, failure and scaling.

I started realizing how wrong my mindset and how embarrassingly shallow my understanding of many critical aspects of trading is. I saw just how much I needed to work on my emotions (e.g. fear of being wrong, fear of regret, etc.). I’m still not there, but I���m making progress.
