Historically, Musk set not too distant deadlines for Tesla solving autonomous driving. "End of the year" or "next year". But with Tesla's "robotaxis" Musk tried to bluff that he’d met his June deadline, and it blew up in his face. Now shareholders are suing over Musk's FSD lie.

No change from the past five years then.

A horse and cart will drive itself with human supervision. However, it will make dangerous maneuvers and require the human to takeover to stop it from crashing or hurting people. How is that any different from FSD?.
