This is taking off so I should mention: LPS is lipopolysaccharide, lots of bacteria use it to make their cell walls, and the immune system HATES it. It doesn't do anything really, but the inflammation response it provokes can be dangerous.

Why do people keep saying this? This has literally never worked in any country. You can blunt case spikes with lockdown but you need strong travel and entry controls and, frankly, armed enforcement and surveillance to actually go the zero covid route.
Hostile reminder that the government could, at any time, bite the bullet and shut down all non life supporting businesses, fire up the money printing machine to make sure no one loses anything, and completely eradicate Covid in less than 2 months.

The biggest risk is that unlike in videogames the wall isn't a smooth polygon, so you might get caught on something and have a nasty wreck. Also it damages the crash barrier so they might ban this if it gets popular.

The "true lockdown has never been tried" crowd on the left is annoyingly disingenuous about what that would need to look like, really. "Funding" wouldn't cut it, you'd need to arrange covid safe ways to get everyone food, figure out what non remote jobs you really need, etc.
This was a policy choice.
We could have shut down everything with government funding for 60 days back in early 2020 and then only had to deal with local outbreaks.
We chose not to do so.
