@danaparish @farid__jalali My beloved dad was very Covid cautious, but injured himself doing concrete work, & had to go to the hospital. He was infected with Covid at the hospital & died a month ago. It was a horrible and suffering death that I witnessed. Covid completely destroyed him. I am devastated.

My son took a test today. It's Covid. A dark purple line. I've got a sore throat & a 99.8 fever which isn't good, bc my normal body temp is low, like 96.8 -97. I'm so upset about this. My husband has repeatedly brought Covid into our home due to his refusal to take precautions.

I'm so upset. My husband has Covid again and is very sick. The coughing is horrible. It's the 1 year anniversary of the day my dad started showing symptoms of Covid on his 4th day of hospitalization. This feels very ominous. I just don't know how I can keep dealing with this.

@LadyChuan @ReesiePeacie I had the same conversation w my neighbor last week. He casually comments, "Five of my friends have died this year. All of them were in their 40s." I said, "Don't you think that's strange?" He said, "Yeah." At my last Dr appt, my doctor said, "I lost a lot of patients this year."

@timnitGebru My dad got infected with Covid while hospitalized for an injury and he died from the Covid. He never got to come back home. It is indeed a very evil and cruel world that allows this to happen to people. A hospital should be a safe place to heal, not get infected w a deadly virus.

@MikeSington Savannah Guthrie probably wasn't even wearing a mask when she came to work feeling sick. Twenty minutes is long enough to infect a lot of co-workers. This is her 3rd time getting Covid in 13 months. She needs to wear a mask and take precautions. Disgraceful!

He doesn't mask. After he was coughing for the past 2 days, he took 2 Covid tests & both were positive. He confessed a coworker came to work with Covid because he didn't have any sick days left. My husband is a mechanic & the guy w/Covid is the parts guy so lots of contact.

@CDCDirector I don't appreciate my husband getting force infected at work by a still contagious coworker a week after you changed the guidelines to a 5 day quarantine.

@myrabatchelder I just got home from a doctor's appointment. No one was masked, including my doctor. He said, "You're smart to keep masking." I don't understand. Has everyone lost their minds? I felt like saying, "You can mask too!" but I was afraid he wouldn't refill my prescriptions.

@Allison86435394 @laurieallee I want to sue over my dad's hospital acquired Covid death. There is no excuse for the recklessness of these hospitals and the incompetent doctors & nurses. I have good documentation too.

@Surgeon_General I wish I could call & see my dad. When I married,we bought a house four houses away from my parents. I could enjoy seeing my dad doing his projects & working on his flowers. However, my dad is now dead due to this administration's Covid response & now all we do is cry & miss him.

@NjbBari3 I also think this is why some people delude themselves that a good mask won't protect them. They read questionable cherry-picked "studies" on propaganda websites & desperately want to believe masks don't work. Then they don't feel shame or guilt when they get repeatedly infected.

@TimLachPhD @jonlevyBU I just got a text about a friend who is positive after attending a wedding over the weekend in NYC. A few days ago, the bride and groom had to message all the people who attended to let them know they were covid positive. Indoor weddings are really risky with cases this high.

@AndyMoose It makes me think of Pennywise the Clown from the movie, IT, where he's trying to lure the boy into the sewer to kill him. I can't stand it when people try to pressure me, an immune compromised person, into doing a Covid dangerous activity.I think they want to kill or disable me.

@KylieHansen @alexmeshkin Yeah, but that is probably to keep the official infection numbers down. Are they going to send N95 masks with the free test kits this time? That would really be helpful. Last time, a lot of us couldn't get the free N95 masks because they were at stores that didn't require masks.

@AWangMPH @CDCgov My county in high transmission again. We were in high transmission when my dad got injured 8 mos ago & had to be hospitalized. On 4th day, we noticed he was sick, asked for a Covid test, Drs laughed at us & said,"There isn't Covid in this hospital!" He did have Covid & he died.

@flow_witMe Everyone I know who works remotely loves it. If a job can be done at home, people should always have that option. The people you know might be declining mentally & physically from Covid infections. I see that a lot these days. The brain fog and lingering symptoms can be dreadful.

@suzannechowla @_Eric_Reinhart Are you kidding? Biden and his administration has constantly minimized Covid while 1000s of Americans still lose their lives every week. Biden's handling of Covid has been an absolute disgrace. Those of us who have lost loved ones due to Biden's minimizing will never forget!

@Zegmeister Do you mind if I ask what kind of masks you were wearing? One way masking is not ideal, but I'm still going to wear a mask in public to try to avoid infection. I'm sorry that you got sick. It seems like the government is trying to get us all infected now. I don't understand why.

@anxiouscatmom @GHMansfield In 2015, my brother-in-law was hospitalized & those Drs and nurses did a very hard sell on the DNR. I begged him not to sign it, but he did after I left for the night. Once the DNR was signed, the morphine flowed w great abundance. The next day, he died. He was only 49 yrs old.

@chucky_dub @mitchellvii I agree. I'm shaking my head at these crazy posts. The whole world is in a conspiracy to make Trump look bad. That sounds logical.
