The current covid variant can cause more gastrointestinal symptoms than respiratory, at least early in the illness.
It can also take seven days after symptoms appear to have a positive covid test.

Swab your NOSE, THROAT, AND CHEEKS-- with the SAME swab.
Rapid tests have a high "false negative" rate if only the nose is swabbed. Adding the throat and cheeks is far more accurate.

The new symptom is "red itchy eyes". Normally I don't emphasize fomites with covid, but think about someone rubbing those gunky eyes, then grabbing public door handles, countertops, and pens at the doctor's office.

The "1 in 10" risk of Long COVID as stated by the WHO is inaccurate.

My disabled son told me that some "friends" are harassing him (again) for wearing a mask when he's around other people.
If you do this, KNOCK IT OFF. We have multiple friends who have buried their young adult kids.

I was a passenger in a car that hit a semi. The seatbelts had been cut out of the car. I ended up with a compound (open) comminuted femur fx and lost over half the blood in my body. Since then, I've had 22 operations on my leg.
