New direct messaging from Premier Ford at Fordfest here in Kitchener: “Parents rights. They need to be..informed when they [students] make a decision. It’s not up to teachers and school boards to indoctrinate our kids. I can’t even figure out what school boards do anymore” #onpoli

I don't even know if this person was "dangerous." The root of what I feel is anger and grief at this mean city. But in the moment it was fear for my child. And $50 million more for police does not make me feel less afraid for brown children. We all deserve better.

At the grocery store, a man approached me holding romaine and asked "is this lettuce?" He asked another woman to identify mint. I asked if he had never been grocery shopping before and he said his wife usually handled veggies. Which 🙄but also...doesn't he eat the food?

Hi Jon! So actually it's about mediocre people getting more opportunities than they deserve, and linking that to historical biases. Why so reductive?
