Call me when none of their "private" income is from the Duchy of Cornwall, i.e. land stolen so long ago we're not supposed to care anymore

@balkissoon I thought only the Prince of Wales drew an income from the Duchy of Cornwall?

@balkissoon OK presume this happens, what satisfaction will you get from it? Will your life change? Bank balance increase? No.. So.. Why so much energy on something that will not impact you one cent?!

@balkissoon They dont want to be “independent” they want to profit from their titles and still get an allowance from their daddy. “Independence” was merely a buzzword. If they really wanted that they would have done it and get it over with.

@balkissoon So tell, me, who should the land belong to and why? Presumably this should also apply to everyone who owns land or property or has money in the bank?

@balkissoon thank you for speaking out against the reformation and the largest land grab in Western history.

@balkissoon That organisation takes so much money out of Cornwall......and we're one of the poorest areas of Europe!

@balkissoon Yeah, but that argument puts *all* land ownership at stake. Which is fine if we’re going to go there properly (communism, ending the very notion of inheritance, yeah?) but is a very harsh stick to beat these two with in isolation, when they’re already trying to disentangle.

@balkissoon The Dutchy of Cornwall is run by the Crown. It's an interesting fact that if we abolished the monarchy then both Dutchies would revert to their title holders, The Royal family, instantly making them the wealthiest people on the planet.

@balkissoon Yeah, won't be very "independent" if Harry's Daddy keeps on pushing millions their way. Duchy of Cornwall is a royal perk. Not exactly cutting loose and earning their own living. Using a "SussexRoyal" trademark and taking fees from it seems to be her scheme.

@balkissoon Think you will find that when Charles took over it was nearly bankrupt. He has protected and grown it into what it is today, making 26 Mill profit

@balkissoon All these lands "owned" by british gentry should be reviewed. Its amazing to me that it hasn't been reclaimed by the people.
