They have clean water. Its just not as clean as the most recent technological advances have allowed to become standard in metropolitan areas. Think of it like internet speeds. Or perhaps lattes is a more relevant metaphor for you.

Ahh, cause in the past water, municipal/ city, had lines up to edge of reserve. Reason was โ this is federal landโ. Some reserves have clean water crises with no reply or very slow federal response.
