Oh sick! I did a lot of tractographies too.
I mostly worked on the usual things like schizophrenia and obesity but also some fun stuff like getting people off of death row by quantifying structural deviances from the norm in brains.
At Stanford, I worked on eyeball models.

Seth Klarman’s book Margin of Safety is quite hard to get. I’m seeing it on eBay for $750ish on average. Luckily the PDF is readily available but they only did one printing run of it IIRC. Great book IMO.

Think that the challenge with fMRI studies is that sample sizes tend to be super small so predictive/explanatory power is just not real even if the numbers look good.
I generally find them to be illustrative as studies rather than totally proving something.
