Medical Insurance is a Scam! ACA only helped insurance. No Surprises Act took all leverage from Doctors in contracting. how else will the government help us?
@David_Leavitt
It is possible to believe in vaccines and the right to abortion but to act like one is a personal medical decision and the other isn’t is a sign of cognitive dissonance. We are all hypocrites about certain things and this is a glaring example for David.
@fuzzymittens
Well I ran into a hornets nets here with my other response. But there is no way to no classify an open abdominal surgery with 1000ml of average blood loss where we routinely have profound hypotension as anything other than major surgery.
@shoe0nhead
Also people think they like Scottish accents until they talk to people from Scotland. As an American I can’t understand half of what they say. You like an Americanized Scottish accent.
@DoerflerJared
Getting hustled to me means he stole or took advantage of you. Sounds like he just did a good job and both of you benefited. Capitalism at work.
@dannykanell
I think UGA was screwed too. Easily one of the top 4 teams. They should both just kneel the whole game and take the money. Flip a coin at the end and walk in so no overtime.
@CTULocal1
Do you eat food? Thank a grocer. Use Power? Thank a line worker. Get sick? Thank a doctor and nurse. Everyone else in the world is working. We all have to choose, you get paid to stay at home.
In 1985 blood born AIDS not being transmissible through non sexual contact would have been misinformation. The problem with information is it takes time to figure out what is true. Censorship destroys the marketplace of ideas.
All my life I’ve tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world.
I’ve decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.
@TraumaSoapBoxes
We do this all this time. It is just as stressful for us, then get 5 min and back to work. Welcome into the world of critical care medicine.
Fuck you very much. I worked 80-100 hours a week for 5 years for below minimum wage. Before that I studied 80-100 hours a week for 8 years after high school. Since residency I have worked 50-60 hours a week q4 hours on call every other weekend. I have it good compared to OB/GYN…
@JNucci23
I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to slicing the ball. You simply aim way left left and the ball will end up in the right side of the fairway. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Why are residents considered trainees but NPs magically have the ability to autonomously take care of the sickest people? Are the NPs not learning? Did they take the hardest courses and make the best grades? Did they good into deep debt or work full time and get a degree online?
This is what I mean when I say doctors can’t advocate for themselves without punching down. Most NPs have hundreds of clinical hours and are usually autonomous and PAs get more hands on training than medical students. Residents should be payed more but you’re still a TRAINEE
@AshleyGWinter
The UK is bound and determined to exclude anesthesiologists from obstetrics and sterile water 🙄 seems like the most recent evidence. Also when is the last time people offered to do an appendectomy “natural.”
@ScottAdamsSays
Commoto cordis is a possibility. More generally a cardiac trauma causing an arrhythmia is most likely, commoto cordis is one specific type of this injury.
@acweyand
Medical education was designed for single men. There was zero consideration of family life or work life balance. When they allowed married men, they still had to live in the hospital and could only visit their families at rare times. This ethos still pervades medicine.
@shoe0nhead
If you believe in the apocalyptic fairy tale, nuclear is the only same way out. But show me humans caused it, it is bad and it can be undone before I believe.
@DrChrisCombs
He worked all weekend. He asked his people to work all weekend. I assume he paid them well for that. They also found ways to get around the starship delays. It is fine if people don’t like Musk but he seems like a good leader.
@ViciousVideos
Brake in a straight line. Had 50 more feet he could have hard breaked before turning. Then he didn’t turn into his drift. Horrible driver.
Best quote of medical school. “No matter what your specialty, there will be people who want to do what you do and get paid what you are paid but didn’t go to medical school.”
@Eric173830021
If you’re too stupid to know that nurse midwives and other APRN’s have been actively involved in GME for decades, step away from the patient sir. And the day an PGY0-4 is my fucking superior in anything is the day God calls me home.
@siouxfallspd
I have an inferiority complex and want to feel powerful. Can I cite people for fireworks and shoot dogs? If so I think
@siouxfallspd
could be the right place for me.
@DawgOutWest
Perhaps the reason there are only four quality teams is recruits know that only four will make it and choose accordingly. I think a larger playoff would help increase parity.
@f1trollofficial
Drivers and constructors should be independent. Drivers should rotate weekly. Would love to see Max in a Williams and Yuki in the RB. Would make both championships more interesting. Also I know it will never happen.
@Talkmaster
Seriously Neal if you see this. I grew up in Atlanta and the reason you see libertarian in my user name is you. You did more for the freedom movement than anyone not named Ron Paul. I am grateful for you and your kindhearted truths.
@OGdukeneurosurg
Neurosurgeons done wear a stethoscope. They also don’t wear casual clothes so middle is the neurosurgeon, right is the primary care doc. Left is the oncologist.
@DrCasteelEM
Just not true in my experience. That seemed true in academics. But in small town private practice most of my colleagues are regular dudes who came from humble beginnings.
@ask_aubry
This is why OBs shouldn’t joke around about a “husband stitch.” Even if this is post partum dysparenuria, she thinks it is the stupid stitch.
@lindyli
It isn’t the advertising. They can advertise wherever they want. It is the threat of taking them off the App Store if they don’t censor speech.
@ComicDaveSmith
@RealSpikeCohen
If it were a black guy in a car, the guy would be in jail. We have a two tiered system and seeing the guys at the top get away with the same crime so many are in jail for is quite frustrating. So no I don’t care about the cocaine but I do care about the hypocrisy.
@ESPNNFL
“I chose to play a position where success depends on scheme and blocking more than individual skill. Now I wonder why I’m not making as much money guys playing positions that are dependent on individual skill.”
@ABIMcert
MOC is a failed experiment. Need to immediately return to lifetime certification. Sorry some of the grifters will lose their rent seeking jobs.
@NateSilver538
The possibility that COVID was released on purpose to wreck havoc on the US is very plausible. We had been pushing very hard for fair trading rules. They hated Trump and were ready to watch the world burn to get rid of him.
@madisontayt_
@_Brian_Hunter
This is the correct take. There is no innate benefit to a smaller scale with 0 in an inconvenient location. For science Rankine works just as well with Fahrenheit as Calcius and Kelvin.
@ahahospitals
You’ve replaced doctors with nurses and now want to ban doctors from making their own hospitals. You also are against freedom for doctors to leave your evil empires.
@miketheidealist
@alisciaandrews
@KaLebhour
Everyone else in life is living with the virus. Garbage, grocery, hardware, literally every one else is working and it is too dangerous for teachers who just happen to be politically connected and haven’t missed a paycheck.
@ItsDonCheney
@PFF
Consensus picks are generally better than reaches. Getting a high consensus pick at a low draft position usually equates with value. Not always true, but usually true.

I’m not a practitioner. I’m a physician who is a double boarded specialist who deserves adequate compensation for life saving care.
