I suppose if you like hosting fascists this would make you uncomfortable. And if public support was on your side you'd have comments on.

Just to be clear about the law here: there is nothing "unsanctioned" about the demonstration. They do not require a permit to be at Nathan Phillips Square per the very clear rules.

Canadians need to be re-educated about why children would not "come out" to their parents. I thought we moved past the kids committing suicide, being beaten to death, or being kicked out of their homes. This isn't a fantasy -- a lot of parents are not tolerant beings.

Just a reminder as everyone freaks out about rising inflation: the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour and hasn't been raised since 2009. That's the longest stretch since the Great Depression.
