@Soviet_Cola
or never have the balls to hate a movie that actually exists because they’re insecure in the fact they have no idea what they’re talking about
@MercyBuzzard13
@FalkAppreciator
@AmosBurtonRisen
Nobody is saying it doesn’t count, it’s just as bad as a problem. However are you gonna expect a literal 9 year old to sign up for 2010 twitter and make a hate thread 😭😭😭😭

nice avoiding but I obviously meant source on your claim that 9/10 kids are forced by their parents to do this. The video above is not proof of that claim.

who here is obsessed with a movie’s obscurity? would love for you to point out an example of how at all anyone here (especially me) is being pretentious.

@Babygravy9
hey michael. let me make this easy for you.
you stated a statistic that 9/10 kids are forced to do this by their parents. Is this claim backed by any data or is it purely based off of your anecdotal life experience? If it is backed by data, what is your source?
@MaxCold14
@NickAdamsinUSA
I saw it and it’s fine, people are overreacting like crazy. I can send you the clip everyone is freaking out about if you want to see it.
@Seantaj
since you don’t have a watchlist on lb, i’ll just recommend watching any of the movies on this list you haven’t seen! these are some of my favs 🩷
@emilylgarbutt
OMG the little 12 year old girl wouldn’t shut up when i watched it in a packed IMAX theatre. she got shushed by others but she KEPT talking

Idk how much into movies you are but this is one of the highest anticipated movies of the year with lots of talk over twitter/Letterboxd/etc

Bad?? I don’t know how someone could think that finale was bad it was perfect (I respect other peoples opinions on it though ofc)
@Wolf_Dhesi
@DiscussingFilm
Because the math isn’t as simple as that. The $195M budget doesn’t include the marketing budget. Additionally, the gross box office amount of ~$400M doesn’t include the theatre’s cut.

“Something bad”. You mean murdering two people and destroying the evidence for it? That’s what you’re upset about? That a character had a reaction which allowed her to bring down that murderer?
@Youngbleuxx
she mentioned in an interview that she didn't like the dated aspects of snow white
conservative grifters needed a new culture war target after brie larson so they took a lot of what she said out of context and are now making entirely fake narratives about her to make a living

I think they mean they despise Disney for treating LGBT people like normal human beings. Weird they have to use buzzwords like woke instead of just really saying what’s on their mind.

im a little confused on what your stance is here. Scorsese’s movie is also up for 8+ noms. Because Glazer and Triet are up for less should they not be nominated? confusedddd
@LowKey92210
@ArtistNeon
maybe because those are my favourite? i don’t like raging bull, wolf of wall street, or taxi driver as much. Casino and Goodfellas are good too!

Meanwhile good CBMs that are under 2 hours long:
-Spider-Man: ITSV
-Deadpool 1 + 2
-Doctor Strange
-Kick ass
-Xmen
-Scott Pilgrim vs The World
-300
I don’t think it’s fair to judge a movie based on its runtime and I think it’s also wrong to say shorter CBMs are generally bad.
