Threw on Now You See Me. Saw this in theaters in 2013, hated it then. But every so often, I get the masochistic urge to revisit it, and then I follow through on that decision. The most compulsively watchable movie I don’t even like. How did they ever pull that off.

Fuck it: Madame Web End Credits x Faye Wong’s “Dreams” Cover

When I was in high school, my film studies teacher said he hated Total Recall (1990) because it had “terrible continuity errors.” The lesson I took is you gotta learn to leave that shit behind.

I was also critical of the score in my LB blurb, but need to clarify that does not apply to this sequence here. (It’s mostly first hour stuff.)

This ends with a smash cut to credits over “Dreams” by The Cranberries.

Would encourage everyone to watch Highest 2 Lowest in full before watching clips on here first, but this is the moment where I did this in the theater:
