Great news for Cork commuter rail. Double track to Midleton to begin by April and ready by 2026. 👏👏
Together with works already happening at Kent Station, this means high-frequency commuter services and new stations between Mallow–Cork–Cobh/Midleton.

Strange situation where a pedestrian and cycle park needs to be accessed by car via a dual carriageway.

Not only in Canada. Here in Ireland, the government declare a

out of one side of their mouths then issue oil and gas licences out of the other.
