We oppose the installation of death-trap buoys in our river because they are unnecessary & will seriously injure or kill people. These buoys would also cause irreparable damage to the river habitat. We urge electeds @BTxRGV to condemn these buoys & demand their immediate removal.

Today, we SUED the regulator, FERC, for approving Rio Grande LNG & the Rio Bravo Pipeline. This methane gas facility would be the biggest polluter in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas https://t.co/HvTI87UQ6Z

Today, the US Department of War is installing border militarization buoys in our Rio Grande River. Trump Admin wants to eventually install 17 miles of deadly "murder buoys" to harm people in our river. Elected officials must denounce these buoys!!!

Texas has no worker heat protections. The state legislature preempted city ordinances for rest breaks. And the fate of OSHA's federal heat rule is unknown. In the meantime, every year, Texas workers are dying in the heat (1)

It's extremely unusual for a governmental body (a city, a school district, etc.) to sue the attorney general over a public information request. Starbase has only been a city for six months — and the city has already sued @TXAG twice.

Starbucks workers across the country are on an Unfair Labor Practices strike, fighting for a fair contract. While workers are on strike, I won’t be buying any Starbucks, and I’m asking you to join us. Together, we can send a powerful message: No contract, no coffee.

As of today, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history. Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

I obtained video of two FBI agents visiting an anti-ICE protester not charged with any crime. While the media continue to mock Trump's war on "Antifa" as legally impossible, the FBI is quietly implementing it with investigations like these: https://t.co/kTesZ6YaR2

Last week, federal agents raided five ropa usada warehouses in McAllen and charged 22 people with fraud/misuse of visas. More than half the cases have now been dismissed after a judge determined the government stretched the law to charge people with a crime they didn't commit.

In June, federal agents sent an informant to a ropa usada warehouse in McAllen to apply for a job. The informant "portrayed themselves to be an illegal alien." The ropa usada warehouse hired the informant — and federal agents raided the building on Thursday #rgv
