A public consultation is open now on the proposed route for the Northern Distributor Road. This morning I met with residents to discuss the route, which will allow east-west transport on the northside of the city. Have your say until Thursday, 10 April: https://t.co/0gfQXJgTWR

Last leg of my week-long journey nearly over — I dropped by the #InternationalWomensDay demonstration in Dublin today, highlighting gender-based violence. I was here for a workshop along with other members of the @JTG_ie — next stop, back home to Cork (finally!).
And in the latest twist, an unexploded WW2 bomb canceled all trains to Paris! Would never make my ferry, need to be in Cork on Monday, so biting the bullet this time and flying back (not without its own dramas). Kevin Galvan has the story (so far!) here: https://t.co/fgm56OMitU

Actually the EU should probably be doing the exact opposite & refusing to import any fossil fuels from any country, like the US, that exits the Paris Agreement. Very poor from the EU Commissioner for "core values"
NEW: Ireland's EU Commissioner @EUCssrMcGrath suggests the EU will bring forward proposals to buy more US oil and LNG as a way of building relations with the new Trump administration

Are you registered to vote in the Dublin University (#Trinity) Seanad panel? If so, I'm looking for your no 1 vote! Ballots should have arrived to you or arriving shortly. I want to be a strong voice in the Seanad for climate, for equality, and for a better Ireland. #ChooseChu

Fabulous Christmas market at Little Island today! Local handmade crafts from Irish and international artists, artisans, food producers and more. Thank you to Maria and everyone for their welcome — and the Deputy Lord Mayor for representing the city. ℹ️ https://t.co/PLWXXCy97l

Great news that the Council is pushing ahead with the city centre transport plan! A relatively modest change is coming to the quays in 4 weeks time that will help reduce private cars cutting through the city centre. Listen back to my thoughts here on RTÉ:

The work @BreedingWaders does is critical for protecting and restoring the population of our iconic curlews, lapwings and other vulnerable waders. This work wouldn’t have happened without @noonan_malcolm securing record funding for nature in government. It's vital that we
The curlew is one of our most iconic species and we have a huge challenge ahead if we are to stave off the extinction of this beautiful bird. This week I met some of the team involved in our €25m Breeding Wader EIP as they prepared 30 ‘headstarted’ curlew chicks for release. 👇

As relevant this evening as any other evening… This is what Neasa Hourigan set out this week in her vision for Deputy Leader of the Green Party to protect and support women, people of colour and LGBT candidates from intimidation and the far right. 👏👏
