@ChazakielDoremi
Actually it was painted by gnomes who have both an impeccable memory and are completely companion to all animals so it’s impossible to say really
@JakeMGrumbach
I always tell Japanese ppl I’m learning cuz I love haiku poets and Mishima and they’re always like NO WAY!! (they’re just being really nice and not actually that impressed probably. they’re really nice)
@workinclassbird
@punishedpope
when you get diagnosed with ADHD they give you one of these. Responsible for 30% of plastic ocean pollution bc they’re always losing them
@raynefq
Another perspective.. it’s important to expose one’s child to some of the normal aspects of human living, after a certain age - even if u desire for the child to overcome them
@elysianenchant
Bc we permit unsensitive ppl in a world where they have wealth to effect their boring desires, and we permit this to be catered to and designed. We could make the world look like a Mozart piano sonata….. but we don’t, bc we let these ppl loose
@gunsnrosesgirl3
@ZwitschertFrank
Prob not what a prey animal sees bc Lion is showing signs of aggression/fear instincts, but in hunting they never show these signs bc it’s a joy-related instinct rather than aggression-based. Recommend Lorenz’s “On Aggression” very cool book
@madison_tayt
The problem is that we don’t live in quaint villages and cobbled towns anymore. I should be able to take my dog everywhere - to the market, to the farms, to the woodland, to the guildhall, to the tavern, to the castle
@afrocosmist
Because you claim that she needs to get better at volleyball, but that claim requires knowledge of volleyball. Duh.
Also, if your go-to insult is “weirdo,” that’s really sad and reflects very poorly on your personality and mind (and also doesn’t even make much sense here.)
@c1nnamonbunny
Eternal teenagerhood;
I think more precisely angsty ironic detachment never fully touched by unbridled earnest love for something.
Was thinking abt this today.
@GoodWillsmith
This is stuck in the 1930s, thinking some piece of “art” is worthwhile because it’s weird or “cool.” Being “experimental” is not a virtue in itself if it doesn’t lead to some beauty. This hasn’t moved past Duchamp’s toilet.
Art shouldn’t be for juvenile people to feel special.
@LegoRacers2
A “Napoleon Bonaparte Appreciator” attacking atheists seems absurd. Napoleon believed in Fate, his Star, but not Christianity or any such religion. He was a product of the new Europe. He tore the crown from the church’s hand….
@eshetDavid

@Shake1n1bake
I think like, the modern man is being depicted as pale and sickly - or perhaps the caveman is more tan from outdoor work… or maybe she’s racist
I like this painting (and love Magritte) but what many postmodern art enjoyers fail to understand is that only one such painting needs to exist, because that is the nature of concepts.
There only needs to be one Nicomachean Ethics. If you reprint it, it’s the same book. If you
@Tocharus
I think Hitler’s art reflects much about himself and the ideology he founded - technically capable but with little value of creativity, perspective, dreams, real art.
Something abt those photos feels so occult, though.
@b_e_a_n_mom
These ppl have political opinions but aren’t exposed to much real information. Obvious statement ofc but just really disconcerting to think about
@niggy_stardust
This is nothing compared to the Red Scare, or anything in the Cold War. He’s just following the standard American political position from 20 years ago. And it’s just to appeal to his voters; he doesn’t exactly seem like a warlord there.
