📣 After years of campaigning, Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) is now law. 🎉 From today, parents with a premature or sick baby may be eligible for paid time off work, so they don’t have to choose between earning a paycheque and being by their baby’s side. This is a huge step

On what is in some ways the hardest day of my year but in other ways the most positive, as we release the latest report from the @mbrrace confidential enquiries into maternal deaths and morbidity, it is important we recognise the families and friends of the women who have died

Racist and Islamophobic riots have had a deep impact on many staff and service users within maternity and neonatal services. We must do our bit to listen, challenge and act to root out discrimination. A message from @ngozi_ediosagie, Donald Peebles and me.
