I was so appalled by the blatant racist behaviour of Michelle's managers that I travelled to Manchester with
@felicia_kwaku
and others to support her during her tribunal. I want to thank the Lord God Almighty for ensuring justice was done and that
@clearmind67
was vindicated.
My beloved mother died on 21st January 2024. She has be promoted to glory - she lives on in my heart and life. I thank God for blessing me with an amazing, formidable woman of strong faith & conviction who made me who I am. Thank you
@ChelwestFT
for great care

Its my first Mother's Day without my mother. I wanted to wear one of her Sunday hats to church today but there was just too many to choose from. If you can do spend time with your biological or spiritual or adopted or foster mother, whilst you can love, hug, spoil & pamper her.
Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I am really pleased that you have given me the opportunity to represent you on RCN council and to be a voice of influence to positively improve things for nursing & nurses
RCN Council election results are revealed
To all BME nurses & midwives suffering from racism discrimination, prejudices, harassment & bullying, microagression, gas lighting, unfair & unjust treatment due to jealousy, envy, insecurity, malicious, spiteful, sad, bad mind and badly behaved colleagues & managers

for all those who feels weathered and beaten down by incivility & racism remember that you are one of a kind, hold on to your dreams, focus on your vision and fulfil your purpose. Go where you are celebrated and appreciated

As I often say we are not trees rooted to one spot. You are a valuable asset, if you are not recognised as such move to where you would be valued for your competence, ability, skill, and experience.
Thanks for the claps but they don't pay the bills. Nurses deserve an adequate pay rise, as essential workers on the frontline literally putting their lives at risk daily for patients. Please support the fight for fair pay for nurses

Thank you everyone for all your words of comfort and support. You can guess why I chose this hat from my mum's collection to honour her on Mothers Day. 💜💜💜
@fernandof1974
Nurses are not trees planted and rooted in the same spot. After 19 years as a Band 5 how many more years will it take for you to realise they don't value you. Don't stay where you are tolerated as you will never be appreciated. Get up and go where you will be celebrated.
Thanks
@FNightingaleF
for this great idea to honour BAME nurses & midwives on the front line.
@yvonnecoghill1
The Nurse behind the mask represents all of us and we must never forget what people of colour have done for the NHS since its inception in 1948."
Great buzz & energy in room
