I was delighted to be welcomed back by @LG_NHS this morning to visit the new Acute Sickle Cell Unit (ASCU) at University Hospital Lewisham. The ASCU is aiming to provide a vital 24/7 emergency department bypass for Sickle Cell patients in crisis.
