Roaccutane ended 10 years of self hatred for me. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I empathise with their pain but a ban is not the answer. The low self esteem caused by acne is so damaging in your teens and early 20’s it can effect the course of your entire life.
Isotretinoin #Roaccutane gave me some late teenage years of normality after years of the horrors of resistant acne vulgaris. Acne damaged me. Probably permanently. Monitor better for sure, but don't deny teenagers the chance of a normal face.
