Let's get this straight. An MP can turn up uninvited to my house (often in a group) to tell me their opinions and it is counted as acceptable. If I go to the MPs office to make my feelings known it is counted as an attack. It is even worse for people of other ethnicities.

Whilst Matt Hancock is on the COVID enquiry it is worth remembering this one point. The £37b allocated to Test & Trace was a political decision. Imagine if they had given all 8,145 GP surgeries in the UK £1million each they would still have £28.9b left. Think about the waste

The defence secretary says what the Houthis are doing in the Red Sea is separate from the situation in Israel/Gaza, and his reasoning? Its 2,600km away. By that logic the Red Sea is 4,000km away from the UK, so whats it got to do with us?

I left the Labour Party as soon as Starmer became leader. People were saying: "give him a chance", "we can change him when he is in power", "he is better than the tories". Starmer was a liar then and he is a liar now.

Just a note here. Kier Starmer's new start up energy company is not nationalisation. It is the equivilent of the country having the responsibility for the rail infrastructure whilst private companies continue to cherry pick profits. It is capitalism not socialism.

Whatever the media say about Boris Johnson let's remember that it was that media that promoted his brand even though they knew what an utter liar he was. Included in that are shows like #HIGNFY that gave him the chance to be a lovely buffoon. They all knew what he was like.

@danielgoyal Thanks Dan If it helps I worked this out at the time to show how ridiculous the £37b spent on Track & Trace was £1m to 9500 GP surgeries= £9.5b £1m to 130 UK Unis= £130m £10m to 1910 UK hospitals= £19.1b £100m to 6 Public Health units= £600m That still leaves £7.4b

Sad to say that my dad (John Molineaux) died today. 82 days in hospital, sadly he caught COVID. He would have been 90 in June. As a family we shared the laughter and now share the tears.

The genius of primary care is that, when correctly funded, it meets patients in the intersection of their various conditions. When a clinician sees a patient for one disease they are aware of their other issues. They are not gatekeepers. They are specialists in general medicine.
