Today, the government blocked the establishment of an independent, public inquiry into the UK’s complicity in genocide. This isn’t over. We will uncover the truth, and bring about justice for the Palestinian people.

If you supply weapons to somebody that is accused of acts of genocide, then you yourself become complicit in those acts as well. Here’s why I am calling for an independent public inquiry into the UK’s role in one of the greatest crimes of our time.

Yesterday, the government removed vital support from disabled people. Today, the government will criminalise protestors who want to stop genocide. I opposed the government's attack on the disabled - and I will oppose the draconian proscription of Palestine Action.

From the very beginning of this shambolic spectacle, the government has treated disabled people with complete and utter contempt. The government's Disability Cuts Bill is disgraceful - and I will be voting against it.

The government has announced a two-tier benefits system. Under its plans, you can keep your benefits if you are disabled now, but not if you become disabled tomorrow. How is that fair?. A reminder: The Independent Alliance stands by its own amendment, and we will not back down.

Politics is not a game. It's people's lives. The Government's welfare cuts will have a catastrophic impact on the sick & disabled, and plunge hundreds of thousands of people into poverty. It's simple: show some humanity and drop this Bill, now.

The government should have listened to disabled people a long time ago: stop these disgraceful cuts and drop the Bill.
