London: polls are open across our city - and your vote matters. The choice is clear: a Tory candidate who doesn’t share London’s values, or my plans for a fairer, safer & greener city for all Londoners. If you love London - vote for it. #VoteLabour 🌹

Thanks to @RhonddaBryant for making the case so vividly about ticket touts who rip off the public and the music industry. The next @UKLabour government will end this exploitation. Thanks to @SharonHodgsonMP for her determined campaigning on this - proudly Labour policy.

£75 Peter Kay tickets for £302 £84 DojaCat tickets for £501 £140 Opera House tickets for £1006 £85 Adele tickets for £24,840   Ticket touts are ripping off fans & pricing ordinary people out. Yet the Conservatives do nothing.   A Labour government will act and tackle the touts.

Workers at #PortTalbot are at risk of redundancy because this government lacks the ambition to back our steel industry, as @UKLabour has pledged to do. The Welsh Secretary has said "no one will be left behind" if jobs are lost. I will hold him to account every step of the way.

This is an important step-I pay tribute to victims & those who’ve fought so hard for justice, esp @DianaJohnsonMP . @UKLabour & @LabourLordsUK are proud to have helped secured a change to the law to speed up compensation. The government must now set up the body & start payments.

Spot on by @jessicamordenmp about the government's woeful record standing up for our vital steel industry. 👇🏽. She stands up for the steel workers and for what they make, vital for our industrial future, building the renewable energy system we so badly need.

I’m sorry, but this government’s lack of ambition for our steel industry is just disgraceful. Thousands of job losses in Wales, including potentially hundreds at Llanwern is not an inevitability. This, from the chamber today ⤵️ #WeNeedOurSteel @CommunityUnion @GMB_union

When people object to housing, this is what its contributing to. The sheer lack of housing supply result in the rise of temporary accommodation. Not only impacts council budgets but significantly harms society and most importantly the life chances of a generation.

Last week @thangammp Shadow Secretary for Culture, Media and Sport visited a beavers group in her constituency. Led by a nature expert they spent the session outdoors foraging and learning new uses for plants, including how horse chestnut leaves can be used as soap.
