@Ed_Miliband The extrent of vote fraud may be exaggerated - & proposed remedies may go too far - but you can’t say there’s NO problem. Remember Birmingham or Tower Hamlets? And remember Marsha-Jane Thompson, convicted of vote fraud in 2006, later employed in Corbyn’s office & now Labour HQ?

Today’s Telford child sexual abuse inquiry comes after similar horrific inquiry reports in Oldham & Rotherham in past 3 weeks. I don’t think the BBC linked the three. If not, why not?

Civil service union leader Mark Serwotka says some of his members administering Universal Credit for the government are themselves in receipt of Universal Credit. Crazy if true.

I was told by May aide I wasn't on list to ask May a question, & there was no point in putting my hand up to ask one

I have long divided politicians into two categories: 1. The weak who run away; avoid media questions; or come up with platitudes. 2. The strong who relish media combat with confidence, a smile, & good humour, and tend to answer the questions asked.

Blimey. Lord Stephen Gilbert, whose name crops up in some of the election expenses stories we’ve done on C4 News, has been appointed to the Electoral Commission

Now Corbyn is joining BBC leaders' debate in Cambridge, what possible excuse do Tories have for putting up Amber Rudd rather than May?

In this modern world of supposed government transparency what is the possible argument for keeping secret the membership of SAGE, the Government’s scientific advisory group?

BBC News seem to have have rather underplayed their good story tonight about another Priti Patel case involving a DWP staff member who received a £25,000 settlement. She had been dismissed and took two overdoses of prescription drugs.

Some gentle advice to any journalist about to interview Jeffrey Archer about his new book, Traitor's Gate, the latest in a series about William Warwick who rises, book by book, up the Met police. Ask Archer about his own five months as a Met copper in 1960, & ask why he left.
