Yeah their safety is trash. But to answer your specific point, imagine a concrete and rebar pile 85 ft high, confined to the area of two Olympic pools, now imagine that same debris only 12 feet high spread over a larger area. It’s far easier to remove the smaller pile.

I believe they infer height from the size of the foot and predict stride from the result. Then compare that to the recorded (fossil) stride and predict a speed based on how much bigger the stride actually was. A whole lot of guessing at every step.

That’s usually the case. I don’t really mind if he doesn’t answer me. Hopefully what he does do is start digging into the numbers and face reality a bit. He can grow and be an advocate for real tangible solutions, rather than denying reality based on subjective reasoning.
