Sometimes they have to call the mom to ask. Sometimes the kid is with them, and they have to ask the kid. When he’s the dad, and should know.

How low is the bar for fathers? A pharmacy worker in my replies said many dads don't even know their own kid's birthday. You'd think that would be a significant day, at least enough for a dad to remember the date. But apparently not.
