I was passing Stockwell Bus Garage (Adie Button & Parners 1953) and the door was open. 59m span. Awesome!

This is crazy. Turnham Green Terrace. Nice local shopping street. Has restricted access. Signs totally ignored. Rammed with cars. @HounslowCycling @LBofHounslow @BedPkBicyclists @willnorman #enforcement #StreetspaceLDN @theJeremyVine How much is this lot worth in fines?

This is really important otherwise we will see a massive rise in car use in cities as people avoid crowded public transport as we emerge from lockdown

Landlords should have some responsibility for maintaining the integrity of high streets even when their buildings are empty. Such desolate frontages as this #chiswickhighroad spread doom and gloom and impact on neighbouring businesses.

As part of the @MayorofLondon #StreetspaceLDN Plan, we’re creating one of the worlds largest car free areas in Central London to enable millions more people to safely walk and cycle. Some streets will be for walking & cycling only. Others will be bus, walking and cycling only.

Hurrah! "We will build first hundreds, then thousands, of miles of segregated cycle lane and create more low-traffic neighbourhoods to stop rat-running and allow people to walk and cycle. We will expand school streets, which have caused dramatic falls in pollution around schools"

Here's the detail document for the 10-point green plan we announced today. Lots more buses, bike lanes and low-traffic neighbourhoods.

I went out on a bike ride today and realised that as levels of walking and cycling increase in our cities post-lock down all of us - cyclists, pedestrians, dog-walkers, joggers and motorists have got to improve our game, be more considerate and careful.
