Would be to move away collectively from the kind of rhetoric & views that Charlie Kirk espoused all too often - of gleeful promotion of violence towards others, of acceptance of violence towards others. That obviously counts for public figures on every side in every country.

Violence is wrong. No one should be shooting anyone, no matter how much we disagree with them, no matter how repulsive their views are. The cycle of (political) violence will only end with empathic discussion & controlling access to guns. A fitting legacy for Charlie Kirk IMO?...

@tony_eh I may not agree with the culture of motornormativity - but pretending it doesn't exist to point of excusing folks riding straight through a zebra who are behaving fairly badly misses a massive point - no pedestrian will think better of you or us for that. Like it or not.
