Truely a great service to humanity!
@DrJimFan
Jim, I am very inclined to believe you, but if we take that as what is going on, how can we move to confirm this? In science hypothesis have to be followed by experiments. How do we construct one to learn more about these implicit physics engines?
The reason Tucker talking to Putin isn't a big deal, is that Putin is sooo boring to listen to. Who wants to hear him blabbering on about "mir rus", his thinly disguised ressentiment about Russian civilizatory failure compared to Western dominance, and his endless historicizing?
People feared Tucker interviewing Putin would give Russia a propaganda win. Meanwhile everyone is laughing at Putin, who drinks his own kool-aid 24/7, because it is just so ridiculous.
@TuckerCarlson

you might think he has a normie version of this thought and then inflates the complexity to impress others, but in reality, people trained in physics methodology and mathematics do really conceive of the world this way. and these are powerful tools, worthy of acquiring and using.

Yes. I think a fair answer to "why does any step have to be cutting edge" is that that's their moat. ASML's + TSMC's + NVDA's. If they stop running somebody else will overtake them. So they rather deal with complexity and "overengineering" than slow down, "be efficient" and lose

right, because ethnic cleansing involves letting all civilians move south and letting aid in.
If you want to see what real ethnic cleansing is, look at Rwanda, Ukraine or WW2

Correct approach. NATO should be all over Ukraine. We need to end this war by driving Russia in further ruin, then accepting Ukraine into the EU and rebuild.

Not sure what to call it but this is a specific type of memetic virus that attacks any and all human agency to strive, improve or simply live. Nietzsche called slave morality "life denying" so that is what I'm using as a description currently.

It's similar to Starlink + Starship.
Elon has an overcapacity in building cars as much as he has in building launch vehicles. Thus he invents a high cash flow product to eat his own capacity and massively leverage Enterprise value. That way he controls scaling FSD deployment too.

fiat money is actually genius, because it expands the money supply *in anticipation* to expansion in productive supply. you "guess" where new economic activity is being created and generate money to enable it. interest rates are set to offset risk of failure/misjudgement.

I guess it's a positive sign that the bastion of Boomerism, Merkel's CDU party that threw Germany into further dependence on China and Russia, is opening their eyes on war v Russia. Scholz and SPD-left-wing remains a danger to Europe's security though.
Harsh words by Merz, the leader of CDU, who erased Merkel's legacy of Ostpolitik and rebuilt the party. The SPD might need a similar figure to wipe out Scholzism
Knowledge graphs, from human-centric first principles, are the way to go. Not only are our literal neurons a network but they model an "association network" which makes up our mind. Any useful extension of us should ideally be modelled as a knowledge graph too and run AI on top.

Can somebody explain to me why Tucker either looks completely brain-dead stupid or really pissed off? This guy has two main emotions, plus his incredibly fake laugh.
Vladimir Putin and his allies have hit key themes beloved of the Trumpist US right — such as opposition to abortion and hostility to LGBTQ 'propaganda'.
The Russian president and Tucker Carlson share some of the same allies, writes

Anything in science is "only a theory", that's a dumb statement. The question is whether the theory is backed by fossils or other types of evidence, and whether it explains the phenomenon better than alternative theories. All of which is the case for biological evolution.

You DO control it. There are literally EU Parlament elections this year. Europe's problems stem from a lack of coordination and the fantasy that any one country would be stronger if it controlled a topic on their own instead of pooling European power and sharing responsibility.

Why should states have the right to deny abortions inside of a reasonable time frame, let's say 12 weeks, to women who want to get it (and can't afford to go out of state).
Wouldn't you want especially for poor people to have access to abortions?

On the Tucker interview with Putin.
I'm glad that we got to see this, because it revealed how out of touch Putin is. Tucker begins with a simple question of what the threat was on February 22. Putin's response spends *half an hour* on the entire history of Russia.
