I left Next.js for Vite + React
Yes, after being annoyed with Next for a while I finally pulled the plug and started my new project in Vite.
Right off the bat developing is much faster.
SPAs are not that bad after all.
So far no issues, just had to get used to using…
I will build a startup from start to finish in 24h 😁
Have been wanting to build a Twitter tool for a while and its time to just go for it
I will keep tweeting as I progress through it and do a soft launch tomorrow same time.

Sam and GDB already spinning up a new company as we speak. I bet 90% of folks in OpenAI will leave if asked. All they need is a new name for the new company XD

I have two rules
- I don't like to work with close personal friends
- If I work with professional friends and I care about the money, I make sure there is relevant paperwork
I run a website that handles 260K web requests per month for less than $ 1

Its kind sad to still see indie folks still spending weeks or worse months building a product before making the first sale.
I feel like at this point everyone should know not to do that. What is also interesting is these are smart people but somehow they still manage to find…
✨ Launching soon -
I want every IndieHacker to have jaw dropping websites that convert better. Even if are horrible at design.
I will open up lifetime pre-sales for a limited number of people soon.

Looks like
@ThePeterMick
has been stealing all my marketing copy from my new SaaS.
On Nov 29 I launched a new product called that helps people generate human like replies to tweet with one click.
I tweeted it out and opened a presale which can be seen…
I was fired today 🥲
Apparently my cofounder hired some new guy called Devin 🤷♂️
Here is what I know about him so far
- Never turns on camera in Zoom
- Typing speed is 10,000 WPM
- Ships code even on Fridays
Anyways, off to my next thing 🚀
@DmytroKrasun
It died. I have worked for a startup in the past where we had a monolith and started separating it into 7+ microservices before the product was even launched. Guess what happened?
Why I failed to build a startup in 24hrs 🥲
- Chose a high code project with lots of external APIs
- Focused too much on design
- Tried to push my own Auth
- Got distracted because I was going viral on Twitter

After the recent chain of events, I am leaving Resend.
I never liked any of the other mailing platforms because they are disgustingly expensive. Resend's pricing made sense to me and I was really rooting for them.
But unfortunately they had security issues earlier this year and

@cramforce
Says the CTO of a cloud company 🤔
- Most companies don’t have a lot of people who it’s never really gonna get out of hand
- Even if something goes wrong its pretty easy to get someone to fix it
Your argument is probably only applicable to companies with a lot of headcount…
Horrible advice for 99% of founders out there.
Let me explain why -
You want to be default alive. The founding team should be able to build the product and go to market with very little or no capital.
Yes, sure you can hire an engineer with equity instead of salary but let’s…
"You need a technical co-founder" is outdated advice for startups
Product Hunt and Calendly didn't have technical co-founders
Our startup hit 40,000+ users without a technical co-founder, here's what I've realized:
I feel like Vercel is doomed no matter what.
They are involved in drama every once in a while.
There are plenty of new-age cloud provider companies but they almost never get this much backlash.
The fact that they go all out on marketing also makes them susceptible to everyone…

Have an incredible Roadmap ahead 💪
Wake up people. You might go bankrupt tomorrow.
It is this easy to get screwed when using the cloud or one of these fantasy serverless providers.
There is no world where I can comprehend racking up $23k in one day. But that is the new reality and it can happen to you.
If you…
What is happening?! Someone spammed EchoFox and spiked my
@vercel
bill to $23k and caused 56k+ accounts and trials
Can someone at
@stripe
or vercel explain, wtf
A lot of Indiehackers are reluctant to try Ads.
Some are even proud that they don’t use Ads.
ROOKIE MOVE
Ads are the single most stable source of high intent traffic you can get. It is also a must if you want to really scale your business.
There is no heroism in not using
I usually love to support ProductHunt launches.
But sometimes people who have never engaged with me would just cold DM asking for a vote out of the blue 😅
Why do people not want to put in the effort ?
300 daily visits from Google using SEO🤯
Here is how you can do it too 👇
- Invest in a keyword tool
- Consistently write blogs that add value
- Try to get legit backlinks
- Be patient

- Customize your carrier
- Choose wallpapers from a nice layout

Should you block your competitor?
Yes. Absolutely.
The most obvious reason is so your competitors do not have access to all your updates (if you are building in public)
The non obvious reason is most people obsess about their competitors instead of their users. They get…

Its crazy how Nextjs went from an awesome project to this complicated thing everyone is complaining about.
Yet to see someone who says nice things with the new app directory changes other than the Vercel team itself.

Seems starting up quick and cashing out on a hype is a very real strategy and it worked out great.
I used to think its not sustainable but I have changed my way of thinking recently.
Everyone is busy offering sympathy to this person, but it's the wrong approach.
First of all nothing wrong in giving up on something that is not working. If you tried your best and then decided to give up thats perfectly fine.
At the end of the day not everything is for…
Last Friday, I silently launched my new product MagicReply 🤫
Everyone who participated in the pre-sale received the release email from me ✉️
Now, its time to keep growing this product in public and market it more 🚀
