Does anyone else remember when Godard gave almost exactly the same example as a reason for why you can't and shouldn't make a Holocaust film and everyone pilloried him for saying it?
Son of Saul director came to Columbia and spoke with us about making that film and all the naked people being dragged around are real life homeless people who got paid “less than pennies” to be in the film. He made sure no one was recording before he said it.
