At the Other Place, there's a prompt asking you to name the "easiest 5/5 stars you've ever given a movie." I had the spicy idea to choose a movie than not only did I not think was very good, but its general reputation was quite bad! I immediately became filled with self-disgust.

THE TRIP TO ITALY miniseries isn't as good as THE TRIP, but it's very good. Its biggest overreach is expecting us to think Rob Brydon would be cast as an Italian mob accountant in a Michael Mann film.

okay but not a day goes by that I don't think about THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS.
This, from Matt Belloni’s latest, jumped out at me as well. The simple fact is that the streaming ghetto renders movies completely forgettable in a way that isn’t true for TV shows.
