I’ve given up my day job, so I can practice and see how I go.
Just woke up. Did the movements laying on the bed. Now the room is spinning and my right eye won’t focus 🤣
Pro tip: wake up first 😉
Thanks Sean!
I’m not giving up my day job anytime soon, but here are a couple clips explaining the

— a cognitive-motor training based on my research.
This can be done seated or in bed, at your own pace.
Draw shapes.
Build complexity.
Make mistakes. 🧠 💪
So, let me get this right.
Up to 60% of cases are asymptomatic.
Up to 75% of you bastards will hide your positive status.
I don’t want to hear a peep out of anyone dissing people protecting themselves by wearing a respirator 😷

Friends family all tested prior to visiting family member with late stage Alzheimers.
Son tested positive. No symptoms.
Positive kid stayed home. The rest went to visit immunocompromised patient.
Didn’t occur to them they were all close contacts who are about to test positive.

What's up with undergrads missing class constantly due to sickness? I've heard this is a thing at multiple institutions. My class has been repeatedly decimated.
When the new person in the bed next to you suddenly has 20 doctors, X-Ray machines, and many other machines that go *ping* around them, as well as mumbles of ‘just got back from Bali’ and ‘Dengue’, it might already be too late, but…RESPIE 😷
@WicMar
Phlebotomist asked yesterday, “do you have COVID?”, as I walked into her room, masked, to have blood drawn.
Replied, “No, do you?”
She ran to get a surgical 🙄
Can we all, for the sake of sanity, just realise life as we knew it is over.
It’s masks, clean air, protection of yourself and others and that’s it.
Science fiction movies are now science fact.
The apocalypse is here. It doesn’t get better. Ever. It just gets survivally 🤷🏼♀️
And so it begins.
3 friends have txted today to say they are positive.
I’m now masking in the house for, and in spite of, my family.

Not sure how one of the most highly contagious infectious diseases got relegated to being the same as rhinovirus, but it’s all so wrong on so many levels 🤦🏼♀️
It’s a quandary. How to get out and enjoy the company of others without putting oneself at risk.
Outdoor pub? If it’s the right outdoors.
Park with wine? Absolutely!
But, who?
Is anyone taking precautions?
No, they’re really not.

I really need to time my outings better 😷
Yes, it is 36 degrees Celsius outside, but wearing an Aura is a breeze.

Preservation is not greed.
Quite the opposite.
Preservation is holding onto a lack of something in order to survive.
Greed is hoarding something that others could benefit from, but you won’t give them access.
Preserve yourself ❤️🩹
Healthy people catch SARS-Cov-2 as well.
It doesn’t matter where you import them from.
No one is immune.
Guess what?
You’re all getting Long COVID.
All. Of. You.
Show me a study that says otherwise.
You can’t.
You’re. All. Getting. Long. COVID.
ALL. OF. YOU.
As I catch the train to see my neurologist, everyone is coughing and there are no masks.

Is it not divisive to continue to make the patient, indeed the immunocompromised patient, the bad guy?
Wearing masks protects you, me, the physician, the nurses, the phlebotomist, everyone in healthcare.
Something better than nothing 🙏🏼
Masks should be dogmatically universal
Meanwhile on plaguebook my supergeek friends are coming down with the spicy cough; some with obvious LC are crying that their pets are dying; and those with family in aged care are reporting yet another outbreak.

An encouragement for mask wearers out there.
From Thailand's Palace news, HRH Princess Sirindhorn presided over a library opening ceremony in Nakhon Pathom province yesterday. The temperature outside was 102F (38C).

Absolutely. I’m recommending clean air, wearing N95s, and STOP BEING A HOST.
In the end, I don’t give a toss whether you’re vaccinated or not. It doesn’t effect me.
But, breathing a deadly pathogen? Yes, that could effect me, so stop doing it.

When it inevitably happens, I can see myself saying “my going rate is $150 + GST p/h. I haven’t spent the last year and a half educating myself about all things SARS2 so you can benefit from my disability, when you did this to yourself knowing you could avoid it”.
Yes. Harsh.

It’s not like this poor Alzheimers patient has any choice in the matter.

And all it would take to stop this is
#CleanAir
,
#WearARespie

#TestAndIsolate
.
To not take precautions for yourself and your fellow humans is reprehensible.
But what does AIRBORNE really mean?
The air we breathe is contaminated with the virus 🦠
It can stay in the air for many hours 🦠
If you walk into an empty room it could have residual virus 🦠 in the air
We breathe the virus 🦠 into our bodies where it infects us in seconds
This is what it would look like if you could see Covid. Please share this far & wide. Hopefully, some doctors will see it. Such basic concepts but people have trouble grasping how their actions spread a deadly disease.

I’m told the worst thing a parent can suffer is the death of a child.
And yet, all these kids around the world are being exposed to a deadly pathogen 🦠 again 🦠 and again 🦠 and again.
You wanted to play with biohazards stupidly, well now you have to follow Biosafety, Respirators, etc or you & your kids (they could die first) will be further diseased, disabled & will die. If this is hard you should not be near kids.

Well done to the caterers. They might not all be wearing N95s, but they’re mostly wearing surgicals which is more than anyone else in the hospital 😷

In summary, the statements issued by the Queensland group about Long COVID are prejudiced, unscientific & demeaning for those suffering from the condition which has no single approved remedy.
