Julie is one of the kindest & most Covid-informed people in the world. It is very hard to stay safe when Covid surges and few people take precautions. Take care of yourself & community!. #MaskUp. Test. Clean the air. Get vaccinated if behind or pemgarda if recommended.

These are the common themes I'm seeing a lot more of from anonymous bots & mis/disinformation accounts so far this cycle:.🔸️The r-word.🔸️Any wave asserted as an "error".🔸️"Case counts are low".🔸️Geographic political prejudices. Any themes you're seeing emphasized more?.

Expect plenty of misinformation & disinformation as COVID transmission heats up. It's often fueled by low health literacy and numeracy, defense mechanisms (anxiety), clout seeking, or social media revenue. I discuss this in the Pandemic 5-year Anniversary video around 7:03.

Want to know what's happening with COVlD in a particular state in the U.S.?. Here's a quick primer with Texas as an example. 👇.

@AjitDwi03062147 Here's my state directory of wastewater surveillance data. Texas actually has some of the best data, IMO. Scroll down a little to find the two Texas links:. The CDC also forecasts by state based on ED visits. If you click on a specific state on the map it.

it could just be low-quality real-time data that gets retroactively corrected. Keep an eye on the national data and what's happening locally. You may find some useful local/regional data here:.
