It appears that the rhetoric propagated by these people who are now experiencing the results of their disinformation is alive and well here in BC, given the last (rare) Public Health comm from Bonnie Henry and a recent statement that kids don’t get sick by Reka Gustafson.

The loose surgicals let air in the sides, the cloth ones are not very effective because of the material, but a well-sealed respirator is extremely effective. I wish

💡Fox News interview left out a key detail that 95% of measles cases (105/111) in South Carolina were not vaccinated. But I am glad they are highlighting how bad the outbreak is becoming—US on verge of losing “measles elimination” status for first time in 25 years.

These are the tools. If we used them, Covid would be a trickle, with far fewer deaths, and those getting long Covid. Even without magic breakthroughs we can cut Covid to tiny amounts now if we choose to.
