Central Pennsylvania is the closest thing to a Time Capsule we have of pre-urban renewal America. (Reading, Lancaster, Reading Again, Allentown) - It’s really a wonder this is all survived past the 1940s
Pennsylvania *has* to have the largest number of intact urban areas. Allentown alone is essentially the size of a top 20 population city from the 1930s, and has a much more significant urban density area than most cities west of the Mississippi!

I can't decide if I like these or not. They solve the solution of cables on the pavement but by making drivers feel even more entitled to the space outside a house and if they have to park a couple of spaces over they can't charge the car or have to run an extension cord anyway.

West Station is estimated to open in 2045 on the MBTA Commuter Rail Framingham/Worcester Line at the former Beacon Park Yard.
