The $95 billion bill doesn’t have to pass.
It takes only 41 senators stop it.
There are 49 Republicans in the Senate—more than enough.
Where do your senators stand?
Please like and share if you agree that 41 Senate Republicans should unite to stop the $95 billion aid package.
You cannot sustain a representative form of government while jamming unpopular bill after unpopular bill down the throat of the American people while ignoring our pressing issues at home.
The Republican Party is elected primarily by its voters to be a check on the DC consensus.…
I’m troubled that I can’t immediately rule out the suggestion that the U.S. blew up Nord Stream. I checked with a bunch of Senate colleagues. Among those I’ve asked, none were ever briefed on this. If it turns out to be true, we’ve got a huge problem.
As a lawyer, former federal prosecutor, and current member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I have a few questions about the FBI’s raid of Mar a Lago. First, did Attorney General Garland personally sign off on this action?
Liz, we’ve seen footage like that a million times.
You made sure we saw that—and nothing else.
It’s the other stuff—what you deliberately hid from us—that we find so upsetting.
Nice try.
P.S. How many of these guys are feds? (As if you’d ever tell us).
I just endorsed Donald Trump.
Whether you like Trump or not, Americans face a binary choice.
Biden refuses to enforce our border, prosecutes his opponents, & embraces policies that make life unaffordable for hardworking Americans.
I’ll take the mean tweets.
I choose Trump.
Sen. Mike Lee endorses Trump for President: "My favorite kinds of political promises are promises kept. Donald Trump has kept promises that he's made as he has campaigned in the past... I wholeheartedly endorse Donald J. Trump in his bid for the presidency in 2024."
Earlier today, a reporter standing outside the Senate chamber told me that, after four months of secrecy, The Firm™️ plans to release the text of the $106 billion supplemental aid / border-security package—possibly as soon as tomorrow.
Wasting no time, she then asked, “if you…
Why are Google and most media outlets concealing the fact that Jordan Trishton Walker—the Phizer executive caught on camera by Project Veritas—appeared to be bragging about COVID gain-of-function research being conducted by Phizer?
I will not vote to fund the government until our border is secure.
Please share and like if you agree.
And then ask your senators and representatives to make the same commitment.

Remember: the people who helped hide the J6 tapes are cut out of the same cloth as those who will tell you that FISA 702 must be reauthorized without reforms—“because search warrants require too much effort.”
Here are two pictures of what some of those people look like:
It’s officially time to withdraw all U.S. funding for the U.N.
The U.N. does a lot of bad things. And if it can’t even do a good thing as simple as condemning war crimes, it’s over between us.
BREAKING: The United Nations General Assembly just voted on an amendment to condemn the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas.
It failed to get a 2/3 majority to pass with 55 countries voting against and 23 abstentions.
Ambassadors even applauded after it failed.
Justice Thomas to hostile media: “I will absolutely leave the Court when I do my job as poorly as you do yours.”
This should be nominated for best mic drop of 2024!
This is tragic: “Under this bill, even babies who are old enough to live outside the womb and to feel excruciating pain have no protection from lethal violence. The extremism of H.F. 1 puts Minnesota in the same category as … North Korea and China.”
It’s time to abolish the TSA.
Airlines can and will secure their own planes if a federal agency doesn’t do it for them.
They’ll do it better than TSA, without undermining the Constitution and with less groping—showing more respect for passengers.

I implore him to do so.

I did everything I possibly could to stop it.
And improve it.
But far too many Republicans wanted to spend like Democrats.
Those of us who saw this bill as an unmitigated disaster were sadly outnumbered.
I voted “no.”
When was the last time 17 Senate Democrats broke away from most Senate Democrats—with the assistance of Senate Democratic leadership in the Senate—to help Republicans enact Republican policies overwhelmingly opposed by Democratic voters nationwide?
It’s never happened.
Ever.
Hypothetically, if you were president of the United States, and you wanted to distract 330 million people—perhaps to prevent them from noticing something you wanted kept quiet—how would you distract them?
“Trust us,” the FBI director keeps saying.
We don’t.
FBI has abused FISA 702 millions of times through warrantless “backdoor” searches of Americans’ calls, texts, & emails.
The NDAA would reauthorize FISA 702 until 2025—with no reforms.

There’s no ruling against Texas to defy.
There was an order against DHS, not Texas.
SCOTUS vacated that order.
Texas can’t defy an order that (1) doesn’t exist, and (2) never existed in the first place.
Please read before you falsely accuse.
Abbott is using the Texas Guard to defy a Supreme Court ruling.
When Gov. Faubus did this in 1957, Eisenhower federalized the Arkansas Guard to ensure compliance with the law.
Biden must follow this example of bold, decisive leadership to end this crisis before it gets worse.
Thank you,
@VivekGRamaswamy
, for running a good, positive campaign and standing for consistently for constitutionally limited government.
Thank you for endorsing Donald Trump.
It’s not going to be easy to defeat Joe Biden.
We need all hands on deck.
You can score only so many points for the other team before losing your status as team captain.
This is especially true when you routinely use your position to undermine your teammates and punish anyone who disagrees with you—to the point that they don’t trust you.
This feels like an elaborate practical joke.
But it’s not funny.
Not one bit.
I cannot understand how any Republican would think this was a good idea—or anything other than an unmitigated disaster.
WE NEED NEW LEADERSHIP — NOW
"The border never closes" is a good summary of this bill, and of Joe Biden's policy.
I can understand why Chris Murphy supports it. I cannot imagine why any Republican supports this atrocious proposal.
The Law Firm of Schumer & McConnell (“The Firm™️”) has had a long, successful run at the game it plays—writing bills in secret, then ramming them through quickly, under artificial time constraints contrived by The Firm™️.
This time it didn’t work.
I hope it never works again.
1. After getting literally everything they want in this 4,155-page monstrosity, the Democrats won’t give us an up-or-down vote on an amendment to preserve Title 42. Why? Because it will pass, and that terrifies them because they want chaos on the border.
A week ago we were told the border deal was almost certain to pass—even though we wouldn’t see the bill until 24 hours ago.
As of tonight, it appears to be going the way of the eight-track tape.
This place is strange.
We were worried.
Then the people spoke!
#RIPBorderDeal
We should remember: Democrats impeached the last president for asking questions about Joe Biden’s blatant corruption on a phone call.
Republicans are impeaching a man for allowing an invasion of our country.
They can pound sand.
1. Somebody tried to bribe Kari Lake.
2. That’s very illegal.
3. We need to know who it was.
4. Hats off to Kari Lake for telling the guy to pound sand and not hesitating for even an instant.
BREAKING: Arizona Republican Party chair Jeff DeWit caught on secret recording trying to bribe Kari Lake not to run for the Senate.
Holy s***!
"There are very powerful people who want to keep you out," he said.
At one point during the secret recording, Lake was asked to name…
You can’t call thousands of people insurrectionists when not one of them has even been charged with—much less convicted of—that crime.
Not. Even. One.
Nor can you claim to be pro-America when you seek to win by prosecuting your opponents have removing them from ballots.
If just 41 Senate Republicans oppose cloture on the Ukraine aid bill tomorrow, they can stop it from passing.
Democrats can’t pass this thing on their own.
Republicans have to help them do it.
1. The Senate is voting right now on my motion to table the procedural device Chuck Schumer is using to prevent the Senate from considering amendments to the Ukraine bill.
I’m going to list just a few of the amendments he’s trying to kill—without even a vote.
No self-respecting senator should agree to vote on this 370-page bill this week.
Any 41 senators can prevent the bill from proceeding.
If you agree that senators should have this bill for at least a few weeks (and certainly more than a few days) before voting on it, say so!
Why did the Director of National Intelligence tell every member of the Senate Intel Committee (Democrats and Republicans alike) that they couldn’t be briefed —even in a classified setting—on the classified documents at issue in the Biden and Trump and investigations?
Biden already has authority to shut down illegal immigration.
And now he’s telling us he’s willing to do that, but only if we pass a new law — one whose authors refuse to share with the public or even their own colleagues.
Something’s not right here.
“If you disagree with me, I’ll call you ‘enemies of the state.’”
“If you run against me, my friends will shut down your businesses and put you in prison.”
“Also, I’m NOT a fascist.”
🧵1.The law firm of Schumer, McConnell, McCarthy, & Jeffries (“The Firm”) has learned that members of Congress (and voters) don’t like “omnibus” spending bills—that is, legislative proposals that fund all of the functions of the federal government in a single, consolidated bill.
Like and share if you DO NOT want Congress to give Joe Biden $106 billion (mostly for Ukraine) in exchange for Biden’s commitment to approve stronger border-security laws.
Biden: “You all need to pay more for gasoline, diesel, and electricity.”
Americans: “Why?”
Biden: “If you don’t pay more, you’ll use too much, and then the planet will get too hot.”
Americans: “When will this happen, how much will it cost, and when and by how many degrees will…
The Senate just voted to waive the point of order against the NDAA.
35 of us opposed the motion to waive.
We needed only 41 to prevent this outcome, and to remove FISA 702 from the NDAA.
This is not good.
The House should

When trying to decide what to do with the soon-to-expire FISA 702, you can’t go wrong by following this formula:
1. Find out what these two people think we should do.
2. Do the opposite of that.
The bill isn’t failing because the political winds have shifted in the last three months.
Or because Trump twisted arms in the Senate (he didn’t).
It’s failing because it doesn’t secure the border—which we were promised it would do.
If anything, it could make things worse.
A “clean” reauthorization of FISA 702 has been added to the NDAA.
If it passes, warrantless “backdoor” searches of Americans will continue—at least for a few months & maybe longer.
This is unacceptable.
I have no choice but to oppose the NDAA.
The Fourth Amendment matters.
The

Georgetown is one of the world’s wealthiest institutions, with an endowment valued at over $3.2 billion.
Georgetown University certainly does not need to be subsidized by the American taxpayer.
1. FBI Director Christopher Wray just told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Congress (1) MUST reauthorize FISA 702, and (2) MUST NOT impose a requirement that FBI obtain a search warrant before conducting “backdoor searches” of American citizens through the 702 database.
Mitch McConnell has been very effective at passing Democratic policies into law.
He’s hoping to add this Ukraine bill to his long list of accomplishments on that front.
If you don’t want that to happen, please remind your Republican senators that any 41 of them can stop this!
The
#SchumerMinibus
passed tonight.
As Senate conservatives, we did everything we possibly could to stop it.
In the end, we were no match for The Uniparty™️.
Republicans must stop helping Democrats advance Democrat policies.
Now.
It’s outrageous that Jim Jordan has been nominated by the party, has the support of McCarthy and McHenry, and yet Mike Rogers and a few House Republicans would rather work with Democrats. If you’re a House Republican, please vote for Jim Jordan—not Hakeem Jeffries.
Rep. Mike Rogers, who chairs the Armed Services Committee, told reporters Thursday after a closed-door House GOP meeting that he wants Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to tell Republicans what concessions they’ll have to make for Democrats to help them elect a speaker.
I just finished speaking for four hours on the Senate floor, offering amendment after amendment to the Ukraine bill. After promising a “fair and open” amendment process, Democrats objected to every one of my half-dozen attempts to make my common-sense amendments pending.
.
@POTUS
needs to apologize for this immediately. No person, let alone the president of the United States, laughs when speaking about a mother who lost two sons to fentanyl poisoning. What, President Biden, do you find amusing about this?
President Joe Biden reacted to a mother who spoke out about her two sons being killed by fentanyl poisoning by saying that happened "during the last administration" — with a chuckle.
Here’s the most compelling reason why American progressives detest Javier Milei:
If Argentina can elect a government with a mandate to restrain and downsize government, so can we.
It’ll work there.
And then here.
That, my friends, is an existential threat to progressives.
Very interested to learn about this threat.
Also very interested to know why the spy guys are raising mysterious alarms right before we’re about to reform illegal domestic surveillance under FISA.
The Law Firm of Schumer, McConnell, Johnson & Jeffries has not served Republicans (or Americans) well.
This spending package is a huge victory—for Democrats, for The Swamp, and for The Firm.
It’s bad for everyone else—especially Republicans.
Thirty-two Senate Republicans just voted for a continuing resolution that would save taxpayers $130 billion, along with HR2, which would force Biden to secure the border.
That means 17 Senate Republicans did not support it.
Why?
FBI just got called out in a community note on X. Congress—take note.
FISA 702 has been used for warrantless surveillance of U.S. citizens HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of times.
Yet FBI demands 702 be reauthorized by April 19 WITHOUT a warrant requirement for searches of U.S.…

🚨 JUST IN: Sen. Mike Lee says he will be introducing a bill to DEFUND THE UN
American taxpayers hand BILLIONS to the United Nations every single year
SHOULD US FUNDING TO THE UN BE ENDED?
🚨 I have it on good authority that The Firm™️intends to force through the Ukraine aid portion of the supplemental aid package (minus the border bill) tomorrow.
Do you want to give $60B to Ukraine, knowing that the entire budget of the U.S. Marine Corps in FY2023 was $53.8B?🚨
No matter how hard the deep state cries, Congress must NOT reauthorize FISA 702 without requiring a warrant to search U.S. citizens.
Please like and share if you agree.
There will be an all-House briefing on FISA next week — April 10. Briefers expected to include ODNI, CIA, NSA, DOJ, FBI and DOD. This signals that the House will vote on FISA at earliest in the second half of next week.
Seventh, if this turns out to be the product of the growing political weaponization of federal law enforcement agencies, shouldn’t this incident cause all Americans to be even more outraged by the Democrats’ plan to hire an additional 87,000 agents?
According to CNN, the deal says that “if crossings exceed 8,500 in a single day, DHS would be required to close the border to migrants illegally crossing the border.”
They’ve already got power to “close the border to migrants illegally crossing the border.”
Isn’t that the whole…
Senators wouldn’t buy a car without test driving it.
Or at least knowing what kind of car it was.
Or even whether it was an SUV or a sedan.
For similar reasons, senators shouldn’t vote for a bill they’ve had no chance to read, debate, and amend.
This map reminds me of why the Constitution recognizes the sovereignty of each state by mandating equal representation in the Senate, regardless of population.
Fun fact: this is the ONLY feature of the Constitution that cannot be amended.
