Yep. My great uncle talked about escaping to a hill and watching U.S. planes carpet bomb and destroy his entire village in minutes. Another elder in my community had to dodge bullets from U.S. planes to survive. He was like 8 years old at the time.

This is absolutely awful! Public health folks should denounce the use of the term "contact tracing" for police surveillance. This could cause irreparable harm to trust in public health authorities and further set back pandemic response.
The use of "contact tracing" to describe police investigations of protestors is chilling tbh. The war on COVID is normalizing surveillance in a bad way.
