my tweets are the result of constant random thoughts and an ability to find the same thing funny for months on end.

We protest against our own government all the time and it is perfectly legal. But they’ve banned us from protesting for Palestine, against the Israeli government. I don’t understand why the Israeli government is more important to our politicians than our own
These headlines are always interesting because all the comments are condemning the woman apart from the multiple comments saying “wow people would condemn this if the genders were reversed but because he’s a boy no one cares 😒”
I love that she recorded this. I love that people get to see what these giant corporations are like.
From the human perspective, how could she ever improve with this feedback? I would be furious in her position. I've had to fire and lay off people, and I hope I did better.
This has been an extraordinarily dangerous year for press around the world. Many killed, many more wounded, hundreds detained, attacked, threatened, injured – simply for doing their jobs. I am profoundly grateful to the press for getting accurate, timely information to people.
Oh my god a young person changed their politics in the last four years how could this happen?????? I’ve never changed my mind on anything before ever I was literally just born with perfect beliefs
@theashrb
They can; they don’t care. In five years time they will pretend they did. For now, they do not. And we should never forget who they are, or indeed let them ever forget
@bigdybbukenergy
It’s incredible how many men think that unwanted sexual attention means we can’t experience loneliness. I’ve never had a more deep, gutting experience of loneliness than I had at university and I still got sexual attention

Depends who you speak to. Some people prefer person-first language because it’s an immutable part of them - you wouldn’t call a blind person “a person with vision loss”. It doesn’t mean it’s their only personality trait, just an acceptance that it’s what they are
How are the SWP always everywhere when it’s common knowledge among British leftists to avoid them like the plague? Where do they keep coming from? I literally do NOT understand
@Sturgeons_Law
@arob0585
Like I say, disability is morally neutral. It’s impossible for it not to be part of your identity especially with something like autism that affects your entire brain functioning. Also with autism in particular a lot of autistic people use person first language so not to imply >
Friendly reminder that if you haven’t been raped, sexually assaulted or abused, absolutely not one person wants or needs to hear about how you “would’ve” handled the situation. You don’t have a clue, you’ve never dealt with it, we don’t need to hear from you.
@3lfares
I hate that argument, it is like saying there was no apartheid in South Africa because most of the population were black - it’s to do with the laws not the numbers
@BunnyJugs
@rmjsimmonds
Men are more likely to be victims than to be falsely accused - it concerns me when they feel more camaraderie with the accused than the alleged victims
obsessed with twitter “call out” threads because they’ll start with something like “here’s a thread of person X being an abusive paedophile terrorist” or something and then by the end of the thread half of it’s just stuff like this
Now we've done the "period-pain simulator", why don't we try the "falling to your death from high-tension wires simulator"? Or maybe the "blown to smithereens by a coal-dust explosion in a deep-earth mine simulator"? Surely this would aid understanding between the sexes?
@bigdybbukenergy
This is actually making me so mad it’s taking away from the actual companies that need to be boycotted for legitimate involvement in the Israeli economy…I’m not an expert in BDS but I’ve been doing it myself for years and they’ve always said that big multinationals are pointless
@redbolshevik_
@bolshelit
I knew a guy like this. Was such a massive anti Jeremy Corbyn antisemitism crusader that he said he was “politically Jewish” because he wasn’t actually lmfao
@GretaThunberg
Greta, Hamas doesn’t use sustainable materials for their rockets which have BUTCHERED innocent Israelis .
The victims of the Hamas massacre could have been your friends.
Speak up.
Emmanuel Macron is 45 years old.
His wife is 70 years old — 25 years his senior.
They have NO children together.
How/when did they meet, you ask?
When he was a 15 y/o schoolboy and she was his MARRIED 40 y/o teacher.
This is apparently fine, even celebrated by feminists,…
@CuriousBunnie12
I’m a childless woman but not by choice and have extensively read about fertility etc in the hopes of conceiving my own children (it’s up to God and my body at this point!). I don’t see how I could possibly be compared to a porn addicted man

It’s not a hypothetical person’s illness though, it’s a common theme. I don’t know how you have OCD and don’t know that
@istreasatuatha
After a fair few of these myself, including an accusation against my apolitical MOTHER (pictured), I’ve found a lot of them come from people who are deeply islamophobic, to the extent of actively wanting Muslims to die. It’s being used to manipulate and won’t work on me
@BumpstockBarbie
It’s so offensive to women and their families who have been through a miscarriage to call their babies “medical waste” because you want to justify abortion using lies. Actually makes me quite sick
@__MarieTherese_
My mum’s partner is a widow but he was widowed 7 years before they met and his children are 30 and 33. Even then my mum has always been very sensitive about this. It sounds like both adults in this situation have been extremely selfish and insensitive
“Denied him sex” is always such a bizarre phrase to me, like sex is a service women offer to their partners and not something we ourselves want and enjoy if we actually like you
@bigdybbukenergy
OP is the kind of person who would probably find it quite funny, a kind of “haha told you so” moment, if someone died or got disabled by a Covid infection
@uncooljerk
Why’s it somehow always women’s fault as well? Why do none of these lonely men talk to each other, why are we always expected to do the work here
Can I be controversial and suggest that probably about half of abortions have more to do with men not wanting to be fathers than women not wanting to be mothers
@thecathguy
It’s literally always “how do I deal with the fact that this makes me absolutely miserable?” and then they insist their relationships are just as happy as “normal” ones. Had someone try to tell me jealousy/anger/upset were part of ALL relationships. Absolutely not true lol.
It was the FIRST thing I was ever told when I started getting involved in left wing campaigning in the UK. That’s the SWP, they’re bad, avoid. THE FIRST THING
@nikicaga
It’s not that it’s more that people are most likely to be trafficked by people they know and not a stranger picking you up in a car park but they seem to be more interested in sharing random urban legends instead of doing any actual research or advocacy
@theashrb
I remember once reading that children in Palestine cannot even be diagnosed with PTSD, not because they aren’t severely traumatised but because there is never a “post”, the trauma is unending. That broke my heart.
Going to university straight after school was the worst mistake of my life. I came home with no degree and severe PTSD. Women posting their Ls etc etc. I’m now doing my degree part time and while I won’t get my undergrad till I’m nearly 30 it’s immeasurably better
