@royalpratt
greg you know I broadly enjoy your reporting and tweets but "guy who got behind on his bills and is paying them off" vs "guy who takes money from hyperconservatives and whose supporters are literally going around calling people pedophiles" does not seem equivalent, to me
@inreGray
"I appreciate your patience this morning as I am managing several urgent matters. Your partnership is a great help and I look forward to returning the favor as we work together on future deals."
@Olivianuzzi
Are you missing the distinction between "too dangerous to read" and "not necessary to publish?"
A major part of the issue here is that the Times gave him its platform and legitimacy. They didn't have to do that. And they didn't fact check it or contextualize it.
my favorite part of this is that it is very obviously someone's job to sweep that path, and they have done so since the carrots were dumped. path? got to be clean. carrots? not their problem

VETOES unemployment insurance for striking workers,
#SB799
, marking yet another blow to organized labor.
Comes less than a week after screenwriters and studios reached a deal to end a five-month strike — which was part of the momentum behind the bill.

Are you neurotypical or is the threat of friends coming over the major and perhaps only source of motivation for you to clean and or organize your apartment
@thejustintucker
@CDRosa
I know you might be confused because the 41 votes you got represented only 0.13% of votes cast in your race (which I know because you ran in my district and lost), but because they are actually elected officials, these 41 votes represent 82% of the city. Hope this helps!
a friend messaged me with concerns because she's into a guy but he's conservative. the advice I gave her is as follows:
• we don't fuck republicans
• we don't fuck with republicans
• we don't let republicans fuck with us
these are the three pillars of "fuck republicans"
a while ago in one of my group chats a friend asked why chicagoans insist on malort so much, and I wrote up my usual spiel on why it's important to me. I don't think I've tweeted it before, so here it is, I hope you enjoy it
I can't believe I went through so much of my life thinking brussels sprouts were terrible because I had only ever had them boiled and without sauce or seasoning

dear federal judges: if you take senior status this year, you are extremely cool and sexy and smart, and everyone will remember you as being cool and sexy and smart for all of history. thank you
I've been chatting with a girl on Hinge and I just asked her if she wants to hang out when we've both self-isolated long enough. Dating in a pandemic is weird but cross your fingers for me anyway plz, I think she is pretty rad.
Some interesting additional context - also there with Larry Ligas, and sporting quite the large bundle of Vallas lit, was Brett Corrigan. Both Ligas and Corrigan were paid staff for Darren Bailey's campaign. Did Vallas pay for them, too?
@Cozmo23
You told us to be in the tower *before* reset. You did not mention that we would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. I'm excited, but this isn't fun, and everyone is confused.
@lolesports
Are there longer behind-the-scenes videos for each of the stage openers? They're super cool and I would love to know about how you made them happen!
@renato_mariotti
Do you understand that the postal service is a governmental service provided to the people and without price discrimination based on location, for the benefit of the whole country, not a for-profit entity?
@amandamull
I identified a user alting around a ban today on Discord by putting together information from multiple different servers and it was _so_ fucking satisfying
You're about to see a bunch of lawyers get very excited On Here because the Supreme Court just ruled that Georgia cannot copyright its laws (i.e. charge people to read them).
Is this a big law nerd thing? Yes. Is it probably important for good governance? Also yes.
one of the partners at my firm gave me the assignment of watching the princess bride prior to our next firm meeting (tomorrow), so I'm doing that tonight

Farming for blossom petals felt extremely bad. It was an absolute ton of games without skins, and only a little bit fewer with them, and the rewards at the end felt extremely lackluster compared to the effort. I was led to believe the closing would be significant.
