Today, I called my daughters and Motunrayo came to the phone,. With braids in her hair and I cried. Because, this is where we're coming from. God, my heart is so full of gratitude. Jehovah, thank You. It is permanent, what the Lord has done us.

6 months and 1 day ago, my daughter signed off her last chemotherapy. A year, 1 month and 3 days after she was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. For these 6 months, I say thank You God. Heavy on the thanksgiving and the praise.

The moment they declare Motunrayo cancer free the final effects of chemo have worn off and she's off NG feeding, the first thing I'll do is go off to a secluded place and sleep for a week. In my waking hours, I'll praise God, drink wine, eat, read and prepare for 14hr sleep.
