@TraceyDelaney Many of the libraries his publisher contacted said he was free to book a room & host his own event as long as it didn't violate library policy!. The library just wouldn't spend their limited taxpayer dollars sponsoring, staffing, & promoting it. Funny how Fox left that out! 🙃.

@Schereeya My kids dress pretty eclecticly (doesn't seem right to call it androgynous) so when people ask me if one is a boy or a girl, I ask my kid, "are you a boy or a girl today?" (Added non-binary around age 4). Answers never changed but they always think about it first!.

@cisgenderhaver FYI to anyone who doesn't know- YES, correctly doing chest compressions often cracks ribs in the process. The ribs are forced into the heart to manually move the blood. That's why Good Samaritan laws to protect people who perform CPR when needed are so important.

@Schereeya One of my kids was fixated on "how do you know what pronouns to use for someone if you don't know if they're a boy, girl, or non-binary?". So I explained that you introduce yourself with your pronouns *first* and then if they're okay with you knowing, they'll tell you theirs.

@ninuaithilme She uses plainer, more contemporary language & doesn't try to sugarcoat the prejudices in the text like others did but mostly they're just pissed that a woman translated it & did a great job with a fresh perspective.
