I think this just comes down to time horizons. The founders I connect with the most are the ones that don’t want the race to end… doesn’t matter if it’s 25 years or 59 years, they want to keep going because this is what they’re passionate about.
I’d argue a lot of the best…
Startups are like running ultra-marathons… but without a set end-line / instead you choose when you stop running— this is mentally the most brutal thing imaginable.
